Kim Campbell, Supervising Paralegal

I began working for Owens and Perkins as a family law paralegal in 2006. I attended Phoenix College from 1983-1986 and have worked in the legal field in some capacity, including office manager, process server, administrative assistant, legal secretary and paralegal, for over 30 years. I enjoy being a paralegal and helping others through difficult times in their lives. It’s very rewarding when we’re able to make a positive impact in someone’s life or situation. I’m an Arizona Native and the proud mother of an engineering student at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends and taking spontaneous road trips.

Jeffery Baker, Paralegal

Since graduating from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies in 1991, I have worked with attorneys in Illinois and Arizona in criminal law, and have worked as a family law paralegal for more than seven years. When I’m not actively helping clients here at Owens and Perkins I love to work on and restore old cars and display my vast knowledge of useless trivia. I also enjoy road trips and family vacations throughout the U.S. (but especially back to my old hometown in the Chicago area) with my wife and two children.

Cristina Nolasco, Paralegal

I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Illinois and I am, and will forever be, a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. To experience and celebrate the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series was so amazing, especially sharing it with my family and most importantly, my 84-year-old father. In June 2001 we relocated to Arizona. I have worked in the legal community, both in Illinois and Arizona, for over two decades in diverse fields, but my true passion has truly been family law. It has been so refreshing to be a part of Owens and Perkins. I look forward to continuing to grow with and within our team. I also love going to spring training games, traveling and most of all making meaningful memories with my family.

Jackie Gholston, Paralegal

I was born and raised in the great State of Texas (“Go Cowboys”). After relocating to Arizona more than 27 years ago with my Husband, and raising our two children who are native Arizonians, Mesa is the place we now call home. I have worked in the Arizona legal field for more than 25 years, primarily in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Law. I love working in the legal arena because it allows me to fuel my passion for helping others. Both my Husband, of 30 years, and I have dedicated our career fields to ones which allow us to serve others. In my spare time, I enjoy the beach, traveling, reading, spending time with my family, as well as being the very proud “Glam Ma” to one grand-daughter. I look forward to working with you at Owens & Perkins.

Vanessa Yazzie, Paralegal

In my almost two decades of experience, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some of the finest family law attorneys in Maricopa County. With that experience, I have learned that clients are most satisfied with our service when they can trust that they have an advocate working on their behalf. As the mother of two children, I am fiercely protective and proactive about their well-being and I understand the concern of parents who feel as I do. My strong sense of family is rooted in growing up in a large family on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona. My horizons expanded with my education at Phoenix College, and furthered with travel around the world. While my family works hard, we also play hard and that includes: traveling; cooking; trying new foods; cheering on our favorite sports teams (Go Buckeyes!); and spending quality time with our family and great friends.

Lana K. Sipes, Firm Administrator

I am the Firm Administrator at Owens and Perkins and have been with the Firm since 2002. I grew up in Iowa and then moved to Arizona to attend ASU. After graduation, I moved to Scottsdale. I love the warm (and hot) sunny weather in Arizona and never plan on leaving! I was married in 1997 and have one son, a cat and two dogs. I love working here because we have a great group of people. My passions/hobbies are golfing (preferably in Maui) and hanging out/playing sports with my family.

Sharon Thorsby, Administrative Assistant

I am fortunate to be a part of an amazing organization whose passion for helping people is unparalleled. I grew up in Michigan and received my Associate Degree from Central Michigan University. I now call Arizona home and love it here. I have more than two decades of experience as an assistant in both the legal and business fields. Outside of work, I love outdoor activities, cooking and spending time with family and friends

Jackie Twarog, Receptionist

I have been with Owens and Perkins since 2008 and am proud to be their Receptionist. We have such a great culture and a great team I can honestly say I love my job! I am blessed to be the mother of three beautiful twenty-somethings. I attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School and have worked for law firms and courthouses in Chicago, Tucson, Los Angeles and Arizona.

Linda Sanders, Client Services Coordinator

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but moved to Santa Cruz, California as a teenager. Arizona has been my home since 1995 and I love it here. I have been blessed with two wonderful children who have given me 5 grandchildren that I adore. Much of my leisure time is spent watching my grandchildren performing in theater, singing, playing the drums or playing football. I have worked in the legal field in different capacities for over 30 years and am proud to be a part of the Owens & Perkins team.
