THERESA M. BARBERA-AIKEN

I am the Supervising Paralegal at Owens & Perkins and have been with the Firm since 1981. Obviously, I love working here! Everyone here is an extension of my family and I adore them. I was married in 1987. My husband and I love traveling to different countries and learning their culture by staying with the locals, rather than at a hotel. We have visited eleven countries - so far. We have one self-proclaimed eccentric daughter and two dogs.

 

 

ROSEMARY HULTZ

I am a paralegal at Owens & Perkins and have been with the firm since 2010. I have a B.A. degree in Psychology from California State University, Chico, a Paralegal Certificate from California State University, Sonoma and over 20 years of experience as a paralegal, primarily in family law. I was born and raised in Northern California but grew to love the Phoenix area after many trips here to visit with a friend. I love the warm weather, swimming, horseback riding, playing with my two cats and soon to get puppy. I feel very blessed to have become a part of the Firm and admire the integrity, support, professionalism and concern for the clients’ best interests that everyone here demonstrates. And, they are a fun and caring group to work with!

 

KIM CAMPBELL

I began working for Owens & Perkins as a family law paralegal in 2006. I left the firm in 2009, but am happy to say that I have returned “home.” I attended Phoenix College from 1983-1986 and have worked in the legal field in some capacity, including office manager, process server, administrative assistant, legal secretary and paralegal, for over 25 years. I enjoy being a paralegal and helping others through difficult times in their lives. It’s very rewarding when we’re able to make a positive impact in someone’s life or situation. I’m an Arizona Native and the proud mother of a very active teenager. The majority of my free time includes my son’s various school activities and marching band. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends and taking spontaneous road trips.

 

LAURIE WHEATON STRATTON

I began my legal career in Kansas City in 1985 working for a small appellate firm. After cutting my teeth there for a few years, I went to work for one of the top environmental attorneys in the country, and worked with him for over 15 years. I have worked in the areas of family law, personal injury, corporate law, intellectual property, civil rights, environmental class actions and basically every other area of civil litigation. I moved to Phoenix in June of 2003 and went to work for an insurance defense firm. I was thrilled to join Owens & Perkins in October 2011 where I happily support our civil litigation department. I immediately felt at home and part of the great Owens & Perkins family and know I have found the perfect place to finish out my legal career (years and years from now!) I will be celebrating my 30th anniversary with my husband, Jim, in April 2012. We live in downtown Phoenix with our furry four-legged feline children. We enjoy watching the Cardinals and Diamondbacks, shopping, dining out, and enjoying the great culture that Phoenix has to offer.

 

JAMIE WRIGHT

I am a Paralegal at Owens & Perkins and started working here in June 2011. I have been in the legal field for over 16 years working in California and Arizona. I’m originally from California, but immigrated here about 12 years ago to enjoy the sunshine and watch my two daughters grow up. In 2009, I finally found my soul mate and married him. My husband and I have a blended family with four children and two dogs. We enjoy our blessed life and thank God every day for what he has given us. Currently, I am finishing my bachelor’s degree at Grand Canyon University and learning how to sail. Our dream when we retire is to sail around experiencing other cultures and do mission work.

LANA K. SIPES

I am the Firm Administrator at Owens & Perkins and have been with the Firm since 2002. I grew up in Iowa and then moved to Arizona to attend ASU. After graduation, I moved to Scottsdale. I love the warm (and hot) sunny weather in Arizona and never plan on leaving! I was married in 1997 and have one son, a cat and two dogs. I love working here because we have a great group of people. My passions/hobbies are golfing (preferably in Maui) and hanging out/playing sports with my family. 

 


ANNIE RIEDEL

I am the Client Services Coordinator for Owens & Perkins. I like the Firm's friendly atmosphere and feel fortunate to be a part of such a great team. I was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Arizona in 1997. I attended Lamson College in Tempe and obtained a degree in Legal Secretary Studies. I have worked as a legal assistant in both Arizona and California. I love spending time with my dogs and enjoy taking them to the dog park. Skiing, going to the movies, playing the violin and traveling (8 countries so far!) are great passions of mine.

 


JACKIE TWAROG

I have been with Owens & Perkins since 2008 and am proud to be their Receptionist. We have such a great culture and a great team I can honestly say I love my job! I am blessed to be the mother of three beautiful teens. I attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School and have worked for law firms and courthouses in Chicago, Tucson, Los Angeles and Arizona.
