During my interview with Owens & Perkins, the managing partner and legal extraordinaire mentioned that she thought I was well-rounded. I guess I was hired for more than my humor and quick wit!
I moved to this beautiful, sunny state in 2011 to pursue a degree in social work from Arizona State University.
I am and always have been extremely passionate about children and families.
By my second year in college, I decided that being a passionate social worker just wasn’t enough for me. So, I took my “dedication to education” to the next level and in just five short years I completed my Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and Master of Art in Criminal Justice.
During my last semester of graduate school, I packed everything I could fit (including my two rambunctious pups) into my little jeep, drove across the country and began my journey on Capitol Hill, where I served as a legislative intern for an Arizona congressman.
My journey thus far has led me here, to Owens & Perkins where I serve as a paralegal and marketing genius. I love that I am able to utilize my creativity, education and passion for other people in a place where my perfectionist tendencies are not only welcomed, they are very much appreciated.
